Il 22 Novembre 2016 si è svolto in Slovenia al Parco Skocjanske Jame il 14° incontro internazionale tra il Liceo di lingua slovena “France Preseren” di Trieste, il Ginnasio di Capodistria e l’Istituto “ A. Malignani “ di Udine.  Erano presenti circa 60 studenti e 6 insegnanti.

Lo scambio mirava ad avvicinare le persone, superando le iniziali timidezze, a vincere le barriere linguistiche e i pregiudizi culturali, a dimostrare che la conoscenza reciproca abbatte gli stereotipi e crea una nuova forza in gioco capace di unire menti e cuori e a indurli a lavorare insieme per il ben-essere e la felicità comune. Si allegano immagini e pensieri creati dai partecipanti italiani e sloveni per rievocare lo spirito dell’incontro.

On 22nd November 2016, the 14th international meeting of the Biodiversity Project took place at Skocjanske Jame Park in Slovenia. About 60 students and 6 teachers were present, coming from the Slovenian secondary school “ F. Preseren” of Trieste, the Gymnasium of Koper, the Technical Institute “A. Malignani” of Udine.

The purpose of the exchange was to unite teenagers, overcoming the initial embarrassment due to language barriers and cultural prejudices. Mutual understanding breaks stereotypes and conveys the positive energy to make different minds and hearts work in tandem for the common happiness and well-being. Images and thoughts created by the Italian and Slovenian students have been attached to remember the spirit of the international meeting.
